It’s the end of the year 2012 and blogs across the web are rolling out their superlative list for the beauty industries best in show.  Sites like Glo and Elle.com have  Michelle Williams taking the top honors for her pixie retread.

Edging out runner-up and perennial favorite,  Halle Berry. Two different looks but okay…i’m sure Halle’s not mad about getting sidelined considering she’s a little distracted right now.  Unfortunately for Halle and Michelle, the most requested pixie in my chair is….drum roll please…..RHI RHI, with her swooped banged pixie, or her more recent rounded fringe pixie.

SofiaVergara’s sexy, voluminous waves win out over the most coveted look in my salon, Kim Kardashian’s 27 inch, loose-n-layered waves.

Now I don’t know about your salon, but not a single client has sat in my chair and said ‘make me look like Sofia Vergara’. Not that she isn’t HOT or terribly funny, it’s just that no body’s checking for her look.

On the best hue list, Emma Stone tops the list with her fiery red shade, Jessica Biel wins best brunette (boring, yawn, o-o), Jessica’s cute but…whatever. I think the two Eva’s (Longoria and Mendes) are saucier brunette’s than Mrs. Timberlake.

 

 

 

 

Reese Witherspoon, Miss Sweet Home Alabama herself, is a favorite for her champagne locks. Now don’t count out the Kardashians. Khloe, the other sister, hits the best hue lists with her gorgeous Ombre’d halo.  I do love Khloe and Kourtney;  I’m just over all of them…good genes and bags of cash is just too much for the average women to stomach, but I digress.

Over forty and still fabulous, Jennifer Anniston remains on the top of the color list with her natural looking …..however painstakingly technical, highlights and lowlights of caramel, honey, butter, wheat and blonde.

Although Cameron Diaz is given the best bob mantle on most of these list, Gwyneth’s bob is much more popular in my chair because of its practical lengths, its great for the non-committal clients who want both a bob AND a pony-tail.

But topping my list for most requested bob of 2012, and a personal favorite belongs to the loud and alley…..Taraji P. Henson. And overall best hair of 2012, hands down, drum roll, two snaps and a fist pump….RHIANNA, she’s just HOT!!!
